Would you like to learn English among friends?
Join us for beginner, intermediate, and advanced English classes. Classes are in the student area upstairs, on the west side of the building, and childcare for babies and preschoolers is downstairs in the children's area. Class is free; you will only be asked to pay for the textbook ($20).
Attending Class for the First Time
The first time you attend, you may want to arrive a few minutes early, around 9:15 or 9:20. When you enter the front door of the church, you may turn right to drop off children at childcare. Teresa should be able to help you find the right classroom. Please bring anything your child might need: bag with name on it, diapers, wipes, or even a bottle or small snack. You will sign in your child's name, and make a nametag to be placed on the back of the child's shirt for identification. There will be two adults with your child at all times. Once your child is safely in their care, you may head upstairs for class.
You don’t need to prepare anything for the class. If you were not able to register on September 1st, our ESL Coordinator will greet you upon your arrival and will help you register and determine which class is most appropriate for you. You can purchase the textbook, and the ESL Coordinator will introduce you to your new teacher.

Important Dates
We follow the Coppell ISD school schedule. In cases of inclement weather, if Coppell ISD cancels school, we will not have ESL class. Click here to check for Coppell ISD school closings. The following are important dates for the 2012 Spring ESL classes:
January 5 - First day of classes
January 16 - Martin Luther King Jr Holiday, no class
March 12-16 - Spring Break, no class
April 2-6, Holy Week (Easter), no class
April 9 - School Holiday for Easter, no class
May 24 - Last day of classes for spring semester
