GIVE TO VRBC

Let’s start with this:
God doesn’t need your money.

Sounds like a strange thing for a church to put on their giving page, right? But it’s true. God doesn’t need your money. He does, however, want your heart. And in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

We don’t give because God needs our money. He already has all the resources he needs to do his Kingdom work. But, when we give, we experience the blessing of connecting our heart with his. Through giving, we learn to put our trust in our Father instead of our bank account. And we get to be a part of the amazing Kingdom-building work he is doing in the world.

So we invite you to give . . . not because God needs it, but because you do!

Be a part of something bigger than yourself…
