Purpose
The weekday program at Valley Ranch Baptist Preschool is a planned ministry of Valley Ranch Baptist Church. We offer a Christian environment equipped to stimulate early life-hood growth and development. To foster a positive self-image, activities are planned to encourage each child’s acceptance of his/her own talents and abilities and the talents and abilities of others.
Experiences are lovingly prepared by qualified teachers to help foster the emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual growth of the children with a curriculum based upon Biblical principles.
Our teaching staff is dedicated to making the Valley Ranch Baptist Preschool program a positive learning experience for preschoolers.
Curriculum
We have a well-planned curriculum that provides a teaching topic for each week. The themes are designed to help lay a foundation for understanding God, Jesus, Bible, church, self, family, others, and the natural world. Our curriculum is taken from the
WEE Learn Curriculum program.
Activities are organized around the weekly topic and embrace physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual development. The daily schedule also includes both indoor activities and outdoor playground time. Each week, your child will attend Chapel and Music. Because we are a Christian Preschool, Bible stories, Bible-theme songs, Bible verse memorization and prayer are used during Chapel and throughout the week.
Security
The safety and security of your child is of utmost importance to us. Valley Ranch Baptist Preschool is a secured facility. You will gain access to our Preschool through a full-time receptionist that will greet you at the door. Anyone not personally known by our Preschool staff will be required to sign-in as a “Visitor” and show proof of identification prior to entry.
As a safety measure, it is the policy of our school that each child be escorted to and from their classroom by an adult. Parents will be required to sign their children in and out each day, including the time of arrival and departure, phone numbers where the parents may be reached, etc. No child will be released to a person other than a parent unless written authorization is given.
