WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY
When we moved here from South Carolina about 5 years ago, I was lost and didn’t have any friends. When I visited VRSM and was welcomed with a warm smile, I felt like I had found a second home. Christ has really changed my life through the meaningful discussions and wonderful community I have experienced at VRSM. It truly is a life-changing group!
I love VRSM because everyone there loves one another like family. The whole ministry is very inclusive and all the leaders are easy to talk to in times of struggle and are there to support you when you succeed. I have made some of my best friends through the ministry and also been able to watch each other grow in Christ and grow together, which has been one of my favorite things since joining the ministry!

TAYLOR I.
VRSM has helped me grow spiritually by showing me what it’s like to love Jesus and love others, but also how to put that into practice by serving the community and laughing together. My relationship with Jesus would not be as strong as it is today without VRSM and the many people and leaders who have invested in me.
VRSM has shown me the purpose and joy found in having Godly community. Being able to walk alongside such a great group of people has made it easier to be bold and grow in my faith. The people here are so special and their love for the Lord is evident by how they love others and invite them into our student ministry. VRSM has taught me how to pursue a deeper faith and seek Christ above all other things.

Doors will open for entrance at 11:45 am. Parents or guardians must present the safety ticket (handed out during check-in) for each child they pick up. Please take a picture of the safety ticket and share it with whoever is coming to pick your kids up. An ID will be required if a safety tag is not presented during pick-up.
PRESCHOOLERS ATTENDING VBS
For children attending our Preschool VBS, they only need to bring a smile! Please leave toys, snacks, and water bottles at home, as they are at risk for getting lost during rotations. We will provide water and snacks each day.
On Wednesday, preschool children will have light water play during their playground rotation. They will not need to bring a towel or extra change of clothes, but please send them in clothes that are allowed to get a little wet.
DONATIONS/COMMUNITY SCHOOL SUPPORT
Each day, during our VBS opening session, we’ll collect offerings to support Tom Landry Elementary School. All donations will be used to buy snacks for children to have during their school hour and/or after-school programs. This is a great opportunity to teach our kids to serve others.
LIMITED WALK-IN
SPOTS AVAILABLE
VBS online registrations are closed. However, we have a few walk-in spots available for kinder through 5th-grade children. Just come early on the first day of VBS to save your spot.
CELL PHONE POLICY
Cellphone use is not allowed during VBS. Please remind your child to leave all electronic devices at home. Parents can contact the church office if they have questions.
SWITCHING CREWS
We are not accepting any requests for crew placement at this time. Crews are automatically formed by the computer, taking into account a balanced number of participants' ages, grades, and genders.

On the first day of VBS, if your child, for some reason, needs to switch crews, please go to the registration room to open a request to switch crews there. We understand that children want to be with their friends, but VBS week is a great opportunity for them to make new friends.
