“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” – John 10:11
As followers of Jesus, we are called to reflect his care for his flock by protecting the most vulnerable in our community. The Bible reminds us to “defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed” (Psalm 82:3).
At VRBC, we take this responsibility seriously. Under the Good Shepherd umbrella, we are committed to building a culture of safety, accountability, and compassion—where children, youth, and adults can worship, grow, and serve with confidence that their well-being matters.
This commitment takes shape in three primary areas:
