WHAT IS WINTER WEEKEND?

Winter Weekend is a discipleship retreat for 6th-12th grade students. Students are hosted in homes all across Coppell for a weekend focused on worship, Bible Study, and building community.
"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
We often think worship must be confined to the songs we sing on Sunday mornings or left to the professionals. But worship is more than we often realize— it’s a daily, ever-present part of our lives.

There is only One truly worthy of our worship: Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. His work on the Cross set us free from sin so we could live changed lives in His freedom. No Other Name has the power to do that. We worship God with praise for who He is and with thanksgiving for what He has done. And we worship boldly so the world can see and hear the Good News of Jesus.
At Winter Weekend 2026, we'll spend time focusing on the truth of Jesus Christ found in scripture and highlight how that should impact every aspect of our lives so that they may be offered up in worship to No Other Name.
