Our Ministry
​VRBC Student Ministries (VRSM) exists to invite diverse and disconnected students to passionately follow Jesus together. Serving approximately 50 students and their families, VRSM is intentionally seeking to create a space for 6th-12th grade students to belong, grow, and serve as we lead students toward becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. We aim to connect students in significant relationships and develop a worshiping community, leading students to become disciples for Christ and equipping them to live out and share their faith. The Job
The Girls Ministry Associate reports to the Student Pastor and invests in the lives of students as you encourage them to passionately follow Jesus together. This role partners with the Student Pastor and volunteer leaders to help lead students toward becoming disciples of Jesus Christ, foster a worshiping community, and equip students to live out and share their faith within the context of their schools, families, and everyday lives.

Be a committed follower of Jesus Christ in all areas of life: private, public, and professional.

Have a heart for students and a passion to minister to them.

Have a plan to pursue church ministry long term.

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Must be willing to commit to and attend Valley Ranch Baptist Church (VRBC).

Must be willing to teach and lead in accordance with VRBC’s beliefs.
What the role entails:

Work alongside the Student Pastor to plan and achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly student ministry goals.

Provide focused leadership in girls’ discipleship.

Help plan, lead, and attend student ministry weekly gatherings and major student ministry special events.

Assist Student Pastor as a pastoral contact for students and their families.

Assist Student Pastor with social media presence, website, and audio/visual needs.

Help to create promotional content for VRSM events.
